I would like the option to leave it on while plugged into a power source. I have a number of reasons for this.
My laptop has different power saving settings for while running on battery, and while plugged in. I would like to see separate settings for while on battery, and while plugged in for my Z10.

My clock stays on all night (red) on bedside mode. Clock on but not on bedside mode (white) goes dark after 90 seconds (my personal setting for back light).

Edit: Both above settings are while plugged in to charger...

There was a wonderful app "missing Light" which enabled the backlight settings to be overridden. This worked fine on my Torch and enabled me to keep my BB in a cradle whilst connected to a power supply, this enabling me to see all incoming mails/texts/whats app etc etc "at a glance". Unfortunately this does not seem to exist for Z10. Anyone know if there is a workaround to this, or if there is another app that would be the trick ?

Use Screen Timeout - it can keep the screen on for an unlimited amount of time.
