Installing of Android apps on a BlackBerry 10 device is possible because of the BlackBerry 10 Android Runtime, but that's about it. So no, you cannot install an Android OS onto a Z10 or any other BlackBerry 10 device.

I'm curious. Why on earth would you want to? I have my Z10 because of the BB10 OS. If I wanted an Android I could find something with better hardware specs than the Z10.

Know it ain't possible but just curious could you in theory and practice buy the electronic parts of a Z30 use the chassis and run Android on a phone that looks like a BlackBerry device but is homebuild and comes without the BlackBerry protection / restrictions.

Do you mean a device that looks like Z30 that is run by Android? If yes, it's possible. Any phone can look like any device, be built with the same components, but run by different system
