Hi,

I just started using the Channels and it seems to me there's some kind of bug in this whole channels concept. Every time I visit a channel, doesn't load well. I'd say 2 out of 10 images or posts load correctly and the rest never shows up. And this happens with all the channels including my own. People around me who use BlackBerry 10 also said the same. But some of them said the Channels worked perfectly on wifi connections.

I'm a little confused here. What's the deal?

Strange, I'm subscribed to about over 36 channels and it's loading up fine for me, before and after the OS update this year.
Maybe doing a hard boot would help?

What network are you using? 2G or 3G?
I just read a few articles and they say that channels hog a lot of data, maybe that's the reason they don't load up quite well for me... I'm on 2G. That being said, my web browsing is quite fast, I can open whole desktop sites in like 6 to 15 seconds. I can stream YouTube videos too. Considering those facts, I don't think it's the data connection speed. Still clueless.

About the hard reset, I really can't do that in my current situation. I use my Z10 mostly for business purposes and I've had an extremely bad experience previously with this reset thing. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I'm usually on 4g or LTE and wifi at home; hard reboot/reset by holding the volume buttons has given you problems?

Well it goes like this... I had some issues and took it to the dealer I had purchased from. The attendant said the same thing, "a hard reset will do the job"... he reset my phone and fu**ed up my contacts. I know it's not supposed to happen that way, but it did. I took a huge loss from that experience.

Yeah, on LTE you won't notice anything coz it's too fast.

I'd appreciate if you asked what you didn't know before assuming things. I do know the difference between a hard reset and a wipe.

A hard reset with the volume rockers does not wipe out contacts, he must have done something else.

I know it's not supposed to... but it happened. The attendant did it in front of me. Later he said, there was something wrong with the OS, and I had to wipe since my Z10 started the funky chicken right after that.

Ok, the Channels thing got fixed when I updated to 10.2.1.537, all posts load and faster.
