I'm not sure if it's a "bug" in the current leak I'm using, or if BlackBerry just messed up-
Every BB I've owned for years has displayed the CLOCK all night for obvious reasons- It's my alarm clock. Am I missing something?

Only if it's plugged in. Then you can pull down on the shade from the top of the screen. This will put it into bedside mode.

When using the phone for an alarm clock the clock will only stay on if plugged into your charger.
Using a bedside cradle helps to keep it visible.
What I do is have the screen locked and blank, then plug the charger into the phone and put it into bedside mode, works every time.
Good luck, hope this helps.

You don't need to charge the phone to get bedside to work. Just launch the clock app add pull down from the top and select bedside mode.

Actually with mine, I can enter bedside mode with the clock on all the time by simply swiping down from the top while on the lock screen. Try it and see.
You do need to have it plugged in if you want the clock to show all night.
Understood about the other method but the question was how to display the clock all night. Currently plunging it in is the only way, unless someone else has a different way to achieve that.
Cheers

Agreed. I can only keep it showing all night while charging. This is obviously to prevent battery drain. Even in bedside after it dims its still lighting the pixels of the screen.

You can also just open the clock app. It would stay open and on all night I believe but might be wrong.

That's my issue!
I DO have it plugged in to the charger on my nightstand, pull down the "shade" and sometime during the night it IS shutting off.... I'm wondering if it could be the infamous reboot problem that is causing this!--- Frustrating. OR- an issue with the leaked OS?
Check your last reboot time through settings

Can't.
The leaked 10.1 O.S.'s have a bug that doesn't display reboot times!
Yep, sounds like your phone is rebooting in the middle of the night from, coincidentally, being plugged in. Both of the Z10s in our home have been doing this sporadically so I'm familiar with what the OP is concerned with, and in addition it may fudge the settings on any alarms you might have on (i.e. Your alarm may not go off in the morning). Very annoying but I've noticed fewer reboots with leaked OS' so perhaps the issue is slowly getting resolved.

Thanks, 00stryder.
I'm gonna have to leave it at that for now. Hope the "real" update fixes it!

There's a ClockView for Android in Google Play Store.
Plug it in

My clock dims and the screen goes dark after a few minutes even when it's plugged in. Mine is not rebooting in the middle of the night. Even if it did, my alarm settings would still be in place. However, I'm going to try what another poster suggested and plug the charger in when the screen is locked and dark.

Why are you still on 10.1? Official 10.2 is out, I'm sure you can easily get it if you look around. Or install the latest leak which works great actually.

I had that with the alarm going dark in 10.1.
It's a bug that was squashed, update to 10.2 for a clock that shows all night.
Z10 until Z30
While there are official versions of 10.2 released, not for US carriers (nasty comments omitted).
Because we are getting 10.2.1....hopefully
... ;-)

I was mistaken...when the phone is plugged in and in Bedside Mode, the clock dims, but remains lit. I'm still on the official Verizon release 10.1.0.2151

Just got my Q10 a couple of weeks ago with a charger dock and want to use this feature, but is there any downside with having the screen on and/or having the battery remain plugged in at 100% for several hours?
Multi Alarm Pro has a nice clock, 3x dimmable. Different colors and font styles :)
