    I recently bought a z10 on ebay which said bad esn. The phone is of the carrier verizon. I am in India. Will it work here if I get it unlocked?

    That might be a blacklisted device because it was stolen or for unpaid bill. If it is, then I'm sorry to say that you can't use it at all.
    Call the carrier and tell them the issue. Let them know it's from eBay. They will tell you why it's locked.
