I lost my Z10 at my friend's house and I want to know if there is any way I can use my pin to locate my phone.

    Thanks all.

Did you activate Blackberry Protect? Here is the website, if you did. Put in your information and you can activate the tone on your phone that will sound LOUDLY for one minute.

    If not, there really isn't.

If you left it at your friend's house, and you still had battery left, can he call your phone? That's the only other way I can think of.

If you have a gmail account, you can use the google voice to call it.

Check your friend's ebay account for any "new" listings.

Inanimate objects do not move to various locations by themselves.
If you were in your friends house, it most likely is still there. Unless someone moved it.
Assuming it is not deliberately "missing", it can only be where YOU were inside the residence.
If you were in the living room, It should be under the couch padding or something.
It shouldn't turn up in the backyard or bathroom.
Have a friendly but serious talk with your friend.

Although it has been crippled since the days of BBOS, posts like this make me really appreciate the simple locate feature BlackBerry Protect still retains for BB10.

Maybe BB10 should include a nanny-type nagging feature to "remind" people to activate BB Protect if it isn't.

    Good idea!
Or, even have it automatically activated when asked for mandatory user actions.
Such as when activating your BBID.
    It's so important.

EDIT: Like insurance... It's better to have it and NOT need it, than need it and NOT have it.

Good point. Have BlackBerry Protect automatically activated by default during the BBID sign-in process... with an option for people to uncheck BlackBerry Protect if they choose to do so.
