After the sensor fiasko with rotation and brightness messing about and being resolved my camera doesn't seem to open when i open it, it says "the camera can't be started"

    Anyone else have this issue?

My camera is working. It even warned me that my geo-tagging was off, so I turned it back on.

It doesn't even show that it just showes a grey screen with a camera icon and a pop up window that says camera couldn't start and also my phone doesn't want to take screenshots anymore?

Try starting your camera from the overflow menu in the pictures app.

Sideload the camera bar file. Search CrackBerry for camera bar file for your operating system.

Edit: looking at the issue, I'm increasingly worried that something deep in the OS got mangled and that simply reinstalling the camera bar, may not do the trick. If a security wipe does not resolve the issue, I suppose you don't have a recent backup that you can restore from? If not, it may become necessary to install fresh. If you ultimately get to that point, why not install 10.2.1.1055?

I have just added some thoughts to my post above because its not normal for the phone to display this behavior after the sensor issue.

I think i'm going to install a fresh OS because even after security wipe it still remains the same camera doesn't start and videos don't play and if I try to take a screenshot nothing happens

Curious if mentioned. Remove your SD card if you have it inserted.

Why not go for the 10.2.1.1055? It is brilliant and if you do it right, you won't look back. Only 2 posts to read. Post one in this thread ( http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...utions-874802/ ) and then download your autoloader: http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...3/index42.html. Good luck.

My camera says camera can't be started every time I watch 1-3 videos in Snapchat ( the android version obviously) .

But restarting the device solve it, though I have to restart every time I watch some Snapchat videos.

That started to happen only after installing OS 10.2.1.1055

I've tried nearly everything aside from installing the latest leak. I'm just going to save myself the trouble and hope I can get it exchanged. Weird that it has happened a few times before and it would be fixed after a reboot but now it's permanently stuck as such. Very disappointed to be honest.
