The first problem is that the camera can not launch. Only reboot helps. It's very uncomfortable because of the loading time. Now it won't open often enough.
2. See the picture. It's also often enough for now. And only reboots help.



P.s. I can't always wait for couple of minutes till my phone reboots, sometimes I need the camera immediately.
This is sad.

I can't give you any real help, but I can say I remember a thread within the last 2 months where someone else was having the same problem.

I encountered that problem too. I don't if the OS has something to do with this. I used the previous OS then there's no issue like this. Z10STL100-1/10.2.1.2141
The image seems alike a virus in a video.

What version of the phone, 1,2, 3 or 4?

Sometimes using and Android app can cause that problem. What android apps do you have?

As I already said I have the stl-1, and the os version is 2.1.

Android apps - Instagram, yandex maps, 1mobile market, 2048, 2gis maps, meloman, viber.

Try reloading the bar file for the camera. Sometimes it may just be the file being corrupted. Or you could just reload the OS (factory reset). This is because sometimes other apps or processes may have an effect on other parts of the OS or apps.

You can probably find the bar files floating around in the forums or you download the autoloader for your current OS, download Sachesi, extract the bar file, and side load it. If you're interested PM me and I'll walk you through it.

As a fellow Z10 STL-1 user, i'm not going to descend upon you and breath down your neck and say

"heresy! The z10 is legendary, and it does not break down!"


Anyways, I do experience the camera issue, MORE on 2141, less on previous. But now i'm on 3157 and I still do get that camera issue, but much lesser, unless I deliberately attempt to crash the camera app (which isn't easy by the way)

I think you ought to go install the 10.2.1.3157 leak that lengend posted.

Secondly, if its possible... DO NOT restore anything. Just sync it.

Apparently it happens more often with or after using certain Android apps. Instagram and possibly snapchat apps. But other, too, might cause it.
