My Z10 is displaying the wrong names for certain people that I have called. . my z10 call log keeps mixing up my contact names on my call log.

I have been facing this same problem. Its highly frustrating and many a time leads me to dial the wrong person. battery pull doesnt fix it too.

My coworker has a Q10 with the exact same problem. He has asked me if I had seen this on CrackBerry and until this post, I had not. If anyone finds the reason, please post. He calls people all day and is pretty frustrated with this problem.

I've seen it once or twice where I press a missed/prior call and says it is calling that number but it's really calling someone else. I've seen quite a few bugs within the call/contacts of the phone. A restart usually fixes it. Although the problem shouldnt be there in the first place

Surprising that this bug isnt getting any attention. People still talk about the lack of apps(*Cough*...instagram..etc...*cough*) as if its the end of blackberry, on these forums. Its topics like these - genuine OS bugs, that should be getting the attention IMHO.

The Z10 is my first blackberry, and I am really getting pissed by this little bug.

I have a laundry list of bugs like this... this is nothing compared to my contacts app that is complete junk and doubles triples and quadruples everyone. It also doesn't show certain contacts and links contacts automatically that have nothing to do with each other. ... There are no fixes for these bugs. I also find sometimes I call a contact and even though it shows to be dialing that person it's really calling someone else.

I have written many threads asking for help. Nobody helps because there are no fixes!! People here just like to make fan boy excuses that everything is perfect and "they have no issue", probably because they never use the phone for business.

Yup, had that issue a while back and much as I tried - the only way to fix it was a wipe and restore, sadly.

Has a wipe and restore fixed it?? I don't want to try as I'm sure it'll take a long time. And I'm not ready unless it fixes this for sure!

Ive performed a security wipe, and restore. For now it appears that the issue is fixed. However, this was how it seemed even after simple battery pulls earlier. Will let you know if it worked after a few days.

Well the problem is back again! I can confirm that a security wipe+ restore does NOT fix this bug.

Is there any way to get this escalated? It's extremely annoying, when you dial someone(from recently called) and it calls another person. You don't know till they've picked up, cos the contact card displayed while calling is mixed up.

Yeah call your carrier and get transferred to a BlackBerry tech support rep. Then send logs.
