Don't know if anybody said this before but if you swipe down the top bezel in the calculator app there are tabs for a unit converter and a tip calculator.

I found it by accident when I was messing with the calculator. Pretty cool if you ask me lol.

That's one awesome tip I chanced upon yesterday as well. Eliminates the need for 3pty converters. Def useful

Yeah it was pretty cool when I found it. I always forget that you can swipe down in apps lol. But yeah the unit converter is awesome and the tip calculator is pretty cool... I guess that's why they left the % out of the calculator?

Awesome job by blackberry where the pack features in all their apps.

Did you notice that you can put in a whole string of calculations before hitting Equals? That saves a lot of work. Pretty slick. There is also a ticker tape you can pull down that shows a list of previous calculations. Had trouble getting this to always work though. The unit converter is really nice.

Yup its almost the same s the playbook calculator. When you go from portrait to landscape the scientific calculator appears as well, haven't seen anyone mention that one yet, hint rotation lock needs to be off for this one to work
