Please pull the plug on this thread. Over use of calculators in RAD mode will summon the Black Helicopters.

Now at midnight all the agents
    And the superhuman crew
Come out and round up everyone
That knows more than they do... B Dylan

The good news is that the BB calculator is actually pretty good at handling rounding. Better than other Android phones I have.

For example, try this - 1 / 9. You'll get, .1111111... Now multiply that answer by 9. On the Z10 you'll get 1, whereas on all of my Android phones, you'll get .9999999...

Another test is 8 / 9 then multiply the answer by 9. Calculators that do not handle rounding well, will give you 8.000000001, The Z10 gives you 8.

As others have mentioned, make sure you are aware if you're working in Deg or Rad mode OP

    Where is the percentage button?
I hope you were joking, but if not, try swiping down and using the 'Tip' calculator.

    No, there isn't.

You can do it with the 'Tip' calculator, but I think that's harder than just multiplying by the percentage / 100, no? .05 for 5%, .1 for 10%, etc.

Some difficulty with rads vs degrees and trigonometry may be forgivable. Percentages? Come on, now.

EDIT: Ok, the tip calculator only lets you input integers from 1 - 100. Sorry about that.

And to be honest calculus is rather trivial. Wait until you get to linear algebra where you'll wonder how you passed mathematics and graduated from high school. ;-)

So true, I remember that feeling, and then having that feeling being even stronger for linear systems and signals (the fact that there's an operation called convolution is just hilarious... frequency domain for the win!). I'm so glad school was eons ago...
