I was toying with the "Calculator" on my Z10,..and decided to "swipe down' to view the sub-menu for the Calculator,...and walla, it has some nice capabilities built in. But wait! There's more. A co-worker in my office decided to do a show 'n tell with her Android's calculator and in the process of me looking at her phone's screen,....I unknowingly had rotated my screen to "landscape" and walla! I well advanced calculator was on display! How freaking cool is that....

If you guys are so big on calculators, then maybe you should sideload this.

Yup, that trick has been mentioned before.

But both will not work the same in the next release:

You don't have to swipe down anymore to get those hidden features
    Calculator - Here's a New Find - At least For Me!!!-img_00000090.png

No more landscape mode, you have to swipe to the right to get to the other functions
    Calculator - Here's a New Find - At least For Me!!!-img_00000092.png

Don't remember if this is old or not, but you can expand the display to see previous calculations

Don't even need to side load it. There is a similiar/identical native BB10 RPN calculator in BB World.

Don't remember the official BB Worl name of it now, and my phone is in my car....do a search on "RPN" in BB World. That's how I found it...

Of course, you and I seem to know that it ain't a real caculator unless it's RPN AND has its roots in Corvalis, Oregon.....

I think they have spoiled the calculator with the ugly buttons at the top. No need for them and I think they should stay hidden

Yeah, it's $1.99 or something like that, true. For me it has been the hp41,48,49 and 50g.

Once you go rpn you never go back. Lol

And that's absolutely horrid. The landscape view is great. What happens in 10.1 when you rotate into landscape?

There is no more landscape. Some people have complained about this change.

Who knows, thus is an unofficial hybrid 10.1 I am using. Maybe the official one might have an option? I doubt it though, swiping down doesn't give any settings menu.

I must agree. When one considers that it hit in / about, what, 1980.... . It was lightyears ahead of anything...and still holds its own today.

Of course, that was back when hp was a technology company, not a printer ink pusher.

    Ahhhh, the good old days....lol
