Hi everyone

I am new here and would like to buy a Z10 from Amazon Germany and use it in Belgium where i live.
Because the Z10 is only available in Belgium on April 4th.

But i've heard that the Z10 is locked per carrier or country ?

Will it work in Beglium please ?

Yes it will work. I bought mine at Amazon Germany and it�s unlocked. But you will maybe have problems to get the lastest updates because you get them from your carrier.

Bought mine on Amazon Germany as well, came unlocked and should work with any valid sim card.

I have another advice for you. If it�s possible, visit a Vodafone Germany Store and buy a Preepaid Card from Vodafone. Every time a new update is available you can put the SIM-Card into your Z10 and you can download the latest version. This card will cost you once 10€ with no further costs. You will be always up to date.

Or if i want to be absolutely sure i could wait and get it from Proximus, which is my provider ....

There are less than 2 weeks left. I would wait until my provider offers the official one. Good things comes to those who wait I had the chance to get mine early in February but I waited till it launched in Germany. The provider support is important if any troubles comes up

One thing to consider with waiting for the official one, you don't know for sure if you will get the LTE model or not, it might end up being the case that buying the foreign device ends up being your best option.

why you don't buy from UK?

e.g. for not spending money within currency changes... If you live in Eurozone you belong to an open market of 17 states using the same currency...

I also bought mine at Amazon.de, it works great with Tango (LU), O2 (DE), Orange (FR) and Swisscom (CH) SIM cards.

Amazon.de sells it for 555 euros and the official one from Promixus will go on sale for 629 euros ....

I decided to wait and i bought one last friday evening from a shop in Belgium.

I must say i am very happy, everything works as it should.

Very happy new Z10 owner and hope to contribute to this forum as well !

I was just in Stuttgart when I saw a local Internet shop selling the Z10 for €399. Good buy of not for the exchange rate.
