The devices played a major role in the plot, but there was no branding on them. If you didn't have a z10 you wouldn't have recognized it as a BlackBerry.

The movie itself is making headlines for being on slate to vastly exceed it's original box office projections.

You beat me to posting about the Blackberry's being featured in The Best Man Holiday. I saw a number of phones in the movie; the iPhone 3 and 4 series, Samsung Galaxy, and yes the Blackberry Z10. I believed those not knowing what that Z10 looks like, would've mistaken for an iPhone , or may've thought it was a non name brand phone.

The round black edges on top and bottom, the volume rocker key, the lock button, and absence of the navigation key, is what made me make me notice that it was a Z10.

Perhaps they didn't have an agreement to advertise said devices, which is why there was not any "in your face" logos splattered all over the movie.

It was a great movie, and I would watch it again. If you haven't seen it, you better watch it or else...

Yeah I wasn't looking for a huge campaign. But an actual logo where it should be rather than covered as it were would have been great.
