My last Blackberry Torch 9810 from AT&T I use to get presidential, amber, and weather alerts built in. Does the Z10 have any built functionality that does this?

Mine does. Have you checked the settings?

I have checked the settings several times but haven't found anything. Maybe it is because I have att? The att I-phones do not have built-in-alerts but the Verizon ones do. My last phone (att Torch 9810) did though. Where in the settings would it be for the Z10?

I believe it does, I have att and I believe it showed up in the notification folder when I got a weather alert

Don't know if this is going to be much help but here goes. I have a Z10 on T-Mobile and the alerts show up in the hub like any other message. We've had inclement weather in Colorado today and the alerts just show up. I don't remember having to "Turn On" anything in my settings to receive these alerts though I could have and just don't remember. Good luck.

You just get the messages, not sure if there are any options to turn it off.

The alerts are on by default.
You can turn then all off except the Presidential ones.

Depends on the OS and the carrier you have if you will have the function and if it works.

It is being rolled out across the US this year.

You get to storm and tornado warning. You do not get watches. Amber alerts etc.

Think it is built into 10.1 as I don't remember it when I first got the phone, but, started getting them and found the settings for them after installing the leak...
