So I was curious about whether changing the encoding in the browser would make loading times any faster. Changing it to UTF-8 didn't seem to make any visible difference so I tried the bottom one labeled Western *something something * (mac) and after reloading the page wouldn't open up again. So I tried closing and opening up the browser again. Nothing. Then restarting the BlackBerry. Nothing. And I can't change the setting back to western (iso-8859-1) because it won't let me get to the settings nor the tabs.

It's stuck like this.


Someone please tell me how to fix this. I can't Reload the software because my BlackBerry is my computer at the moment until my laptop is fixed.

How do you restart?

If you have not tried the following restart, give it a try

Press and HOLD both Vol Up/Down buttons. Keep holding while the screen goes fully black, keep holding through the Black/White logo and when the Colored Logo shows up, release those buttons.

Ok do one thing clear coockie and cache of browser..and then try if it doesnt work then enable desktop mode of browser..and try it and.if it is working then disable desktop mode.

I was having same issue (Z10 on VZW), tried the up/down keys, did not help. But, enabling desktop mode worked. Any drawbacks that I should be aware of? More data usage?
