Today i played around the brightness of my Z10 hoping to save some battery juice. I set the brightness to the dimmest level. I find the text still readable at that level.

Howevet, whenever i load up any android app, the LCD screen seema to brighten up so brightly. A check on the setting shows it still remain in minimum.

Is there a way to set brightness to low for android apps too?

Note that only inside the android app is the LCD so bright, when out of the app, the brightness goes back to z10 setting.

I don't think we have control over brightness outside of the main settings.

BlackBerry could stop this from happening with a runtime update.
