Can tell you, YES. it bridges with ease. It connects anytime the bluetooth is on, on both, without any prompts.

I really haven't put an SMS app on the Playbook to see how texting works. But files are visible on the Playbook from both devices, including the micro SD card.

It bridges, but huge functionality losses over the bridging with OS devices. However, I am sure things will be made right with future updates, see my signature.....

I feel your pain. It is coming and it is worth the wait, I think.

It does bridge but no longer does as much as it used to. Two most important to me were lost, texting and calendar sync.

I'm a little disappointed that text and calendar are not working with the bridge.

Most important feature to me is the ability to use the data plan of the phone without tethering. I'm assuming it can still do that. The other missing features I can wait for.

Yes that is a big drag but hopefully it will be returned in a future update.

I can bridge internet, but since going to Z10 I now do not have the mail, contacts, calendar between the two. I use that alot scheduling appointments and doing things while on the phone. Bummer that its not there maybe it will be back shortly. I hope!
