Short story, z10 bricked, no back up, repair Centre sends replacement z10, now the big question, how do I get back all my paid apps without paying again, once was enough, help please.

Once you log back into Blackberry World with the same details, all the apps you've had should be there, paid or unpaid.

However, there are some for which this is not the case - I lost my subscription to Wisepilot when my Z10 bricked as it was only valid on that device.

You won't need to pay for the apps again. When you go to the app you want to download it will let you without charge. It will say download instead of a price. You need too sign into bb world with the same email you used before with it.

Go to the BB World app and it will ask you from there. In-fact, when you first boot up your new handset, the option to sign in should be one of the first things on the set up screen.

Ah - if you've done that, I do believe that the only way to change it back is to wipe the device and start again I'm afraid. It certainly used to be that way, and as far as I know it's still the same.

You need to use the exact same BBID. That way, when you go to app World, it will "know" you and show all of your old, paid, apps.

From the settings select blackberry Id then edit. It looks like you can change it in that screen. Maybe you can't, I didn't try, I only have the one id. It's worth a shot.

I tried that, it tells me someone else is using "that" id, OK I did the security wipe, started from scratch like The Game but hey my old paid apps requires me to buy again eish don't know what's happening, this is the same id I used to use.

Probably something to do with your old phone. I don't know how to fix this though because it should ask you if you want to transfer the ID to that phone
