I was watching Person of Interest yesterday and noticed both a Z10 and Q10 (Season 3). In Season 1 and 2 I saw some older BlackBerry devices as well. Criminal Minds, Flashpoint, Bones etc.

Kind of a small trend I'm noticing is that with quite a few of these police drama's/action television shows BlackBerry devices are used. Pretty neat indeed.

PS. They showed a BlackBerry Storm 1 on an episode of Flashpoint, I was thinking to myself "OH GOD WHY! Couldn't they have used anything else" LOL

Neil Caffrey in White Collar proudly uses a BlackBerry Z10 (or is it a Z30), and every episode has a BB logo shot, probably sponsored by BlackBerry.

Trust me, BlackBerry has paid for all of those product placements. That's where most of the money comes from for TV shows and movies these days - product placement. That's modern advertisement because people don't pay attention to commercials anymore.

There is at least on BB in Revenge too, but it's a disguised OS7 device. It's a pity that Emily doesn't use one; her character, of all of them, needs the security the most.

I have been watching a marathon of the show Scandal on Netflix. They were all using older BlackBerry phones. All of a sudden half way through season 2 they are all using gigantic Windows phones. Disappointing. It's funny how you can tell when a company pays for a show to use their product. You start to see silly plugs for the phone throughout the episodes. Like they focus on the incoming call screen for an obnoxious amount of time so you can see its a Windows phone.

My favorite is when it's an advertisement for a feature in a car, like the navigation system. So corny when they try to tie it into the show.
