    good idea, thanks.
reported the issue at the forum of my carrier (A1 Telekom in Austria = German language):

If enough people do that, after X reports, the carrier will report it to BlackBerry.
Now that's just plain silly... the carriers should not be BlackBerry clients, we, the users, are BlackBerry clients... the carriers are just the provider we choose to use with our mobiles.

Mine was working perfectly before, but has been very flaky since I installed 2342 and 2354. About 50% of the time I can't use the steering wheel or head unit controls. 15% of the time it won't connect at all, the rest of the time it works.
Everything's working fine (Verizon Z-10 on OS 2354) for me with my 2013 Nissan Altima except maps voice guidance no longer plays. I think that is due to the maps app but not sure.

So on your 2013 Altima does the phone book actually download? That is the main issue i am having. I kick off the manual download but once the automatic download starts to happen it wipes it out again. So i am stuck in a never ending cycle.

It's not only Nissan, my opel touch&connect has the same problem and it looks like it is the same third party software.
I'm actually at my car dealer right now to see if there is a software update... but there is not, so now they are going to do a complete reset of the software... not holding my breath though...

as described above i have a Renault with that problem.

if a handsfree system is not compatible and not working with the Z10 from the beginning it is annoying but i could live with this fact and wait for an update to fix this.

BUT, if it worked perfectly without any problems with the Z10 and OS 10.0 and stops working after update to 10.1 this is not acceptable. i do not think they changed the complete blutooth system/stack/environment with this update ...

BlackBerry must have changed something in the blue tooth stack in 10.1 though...

I have Nissan Connect head unit and BlackBerry Q10.
If I answer phone call using handsfree the callers voice is not transmitted through the car system. I.e the handsfree function does not work!
This is a very important feature that if not working renders a phone completely useless to anyone who needs to drive as part of their job. It's no good blaming Nissan its easier to change phone than car. Blackberry need to fix this asap.
Forget what enhancements need to be in 10.2
    This needs fixed asap.

You should call their customer service, to see if your phone and OS are compatible. I work for a car manufacturer, that is usually the issue. Some phones are completely compatible. Those are the ones that we test. We test once a quarter. So I tell customers it may work it may not. Some things may work some may not. We haven't tested it with our vehicles. There is no set standard on bluetooth.

Before my Z10, I was using Bold 9900. Both phones work flawlessly on my 13' Ford Escape Titanium using Ford MyTouch infotainment. (Microsoft Sync) this car has two profiles for both myself and my wife.

Our Z10s originally came with 10.0 and have been updated to official carrier releases 10.1.0.273 to the current 10.1.0.2014. Again as I had previously said above...our infotainment system in our '13 Escape Titanium had no issues that you are having going all the way to our Bold 9900s which includes text to speech through our infotainment system. I feel it's your Nissan connect system. Nissan should have a compatibility list like the Ford Sync as per my post below.

Agreed! Perfect example from your post about compatibility.

Here is the compatibility list on Ford's Sync website http://www.ford.ca/technology/sync/

Scroll 3/4 down and you can click on phone compatibility list.
