Hy guys! My brother bought a Blackberry Z10 (second hand) for me and sent it to me via a 2 days bus transportation. Before the departure the phone was working. Now I got it and I plugged the charger (which is a HTC charger) and the phone won't boot up. The red light is lit for 20 seconds, then goes out, "BlackBerry" appears on the screen and vanishes after a few seconds and this goes loop. What should I do in order to power it up? Thanks!

P.S.: I have a PlayBook Charger, would it help?

Hi friend, try it, I would recommend you that before the HTC charger, you used the the PalyBook, since it would be much more acertdao use the latter, by the characteristics of the same characteristics, tension (volt.), intensity (AmP) and capacity (AMPH), etc..

Hy! I updated the software through PC connection (straightly from the BlackBerry site), I plugged in the PlayBook charger, but it is the same situation. I cannot get past the BlackBerry logo: the red light stays on for 20 seconds, it turn out, after another 20 seconds the BlackBerry logo appears on screen for 2 seconds and then the process repeats! Also, when I connect the device to the PC the BlackBerry Link gives me a pop-up message, something like "This BB device is operating BB 10 OS and therefore BB link cannot be used to sync this device" - or something like this. Any ideas of what should I do? Thank you!

P.S.: I don't have a SIM card in the device!

the playbook charger is fine. it is sold as the rapid charger for the bb phones.

try unloading and reloading link. or visit the os leak forum and grab the Autoloader thatmatches your model. remove battery, plug in usb, run autoloader. should see green led for a bit.

That isn't a screenshot of BB Link, it is the old BB Desktop software, download BB Link on PC and install. Make sure the phone is using the charger that came with the phone or the BB Playbook charger, charge overnight. If it still doesn't boot up, connect tomPC, launch Link, restore to factory settings and everything should work.

Wow! Thanks for that! How did I get BB Software for a BB 7 device? I have installed the Link, the problme is this one now: I didn't manage to change the BlackBerry ID on this phone, how can I use Link in this case?

Hy! I managed to wipe the device using SIC multiwipe, I Autoloaded the newest leak, but no difference. Now I noticed that if I unplug the phone from either PC or charger, it won't give any life sign! Could it be the battery?
