I had a few issues with my Z10 so I decided to remind myself of why I love BlackBerry and not apple. I decided to stop using my Z10 for 2 weeks while JUST using my 5th generation iPod touch for calls and texts.its the closest device to the iPhone 5. As the days went on I realized how much I miss my keyboard. Days and days of typos simply aggravated me. It simply wasn't right. I'm back on my Z10 and I'll never abandon her again. The clicking of the home button is what REALLY put me over the edge

I found typing on the iphone easier than the z10, no misspelled words. The q10 is what I bought because of the keyboard.

I've used physical blackberry keyboards since 2005 and now I'm afraid to try to Q10 because I don't fell I will haven the speed or accuracy of the Z10. It's like when I got my first sure type device the 7103e, like using the force. It's just knows what I'm typing next.

I never was a big fan of virtual keyboards before but I thought the iPhone had the best. Android keyboards are terrible.

The z10 keyboard is still not quite as accurate for me as a physical keyboard but it is such a slight disadvantage that the benefit of the larger screen makes up for it.

I'm the complete polar opposite. Many things I like about my iPhone better still but typing ... not a chance in hell.

Despite getting the Z10, I do miss a hard keyboard. I think typing on my 9900 was slightly slower, but much more accurate. The Z10 is lightning fast once you become used to it, but if I type a fairly lengthy message without checking before sending, I can guarantee at least one error.

Having said that, both pee all over the Apple typing 'experience'. I has to be THE worst keyboard I've ever tried. It's tiny, slow, and looks rubbish.I think my Spectrum 48K was more pleasurable back in the mid-80's.

I never had a problem with any of my iPhones trying to type. I like the Z10 keyboard better but it also helps that it has a bigger screen. SwiftKey for Android on my 4.65inch Galaxy Nexus is the best mobile touch typing experience I have ever had.

I suspect a lot of people are perfectly fine. I just can't stand it personally. Partly the fact that it autocorrects wrong a lot for me. And with autocorrect off, I mis-type on it and have to re-correct all the time. I think you called it in that the screen being larger (wider) on the Z10. It helps my hands. Plus, I find the Z10 is better at auto-correcting and I've gotten the hang up swipe typing.

The Z10 is better for me over the iPhone because I flick a lot. Also the keyboard is slightly more spacious.

But Swiftey on my SGIII kills both.

Sadly I can type better on the iphone then on my Z10. Now I do think some is because of the OS in the Z10. I have the latest ATT put out but it is not the best. Saying this I may not see any improvement with more OS updates in the Z so I can't say it will be better but for now the iphone is the winner for me in typing

Oh you can be perfectly fine with the iPhone keyboard. But no way will you be more efficient with it. Just not possible

I agree that the Z10 keyboard is much better than iphone, although I would need to preface that with saying that I was using iPhone4

Either way you look at it, the Z10 is just so much better. It LOOKS MUCH better, and sleeker. Functionality is top notch, and so is predictive text.

When i type a message using my gf's 4s, i tend to flick the virtual keyboard since I'm really use to my z10..=D

For me, the z10 keyboard is really fun to use and almost never had any mistakes, and even though i made a mistake, just swipe left to erase the whole word.

I use to flick a lot until I found that just typing the word or pressing spacebar is much faster (for me anyways). Especially since I really don't look at the keyboard too much when I type. SwiftKey still wins in this department. I was able to just press the box above the keyboard which IMO is better than flicking. I was also able to text and email without typing at all because of said boxes and the amazing prediction.

Hopefully BB10s keyboard adopts more of these features.

I carry the Z10 (personal) and iPhone 4S (company-issued). There's no comparison -- I find the Z far easier to use and more accurate. I also find myself trying to use the BB10 gestures on the iPhone...
