I signed up with AT&T using 2 different email addresses plus i also talked on the phone some time ago and they said then they would let me know but to date I have not received any news from them

I don't think at&t will let you choose data networks. I have an unlocked z10 with an at&t sim card and there is no option to choose 3g or lte. its controlled by the sim card

You keep saying this, but I don't beleive it's controlled by the sim card. On my 9900, I can use os 7 (not 7.1) and I can toggle between 3G and Edge just fine.

I talked to an at&t rep today. Guy I have recently started using and I schooled him on the z10 when I was picking up another phone. he told me to call and he would let me know anything he heard. so today I give him a call. He says that. They are gonna start their training on the device on the 15th. that was confirmed so it looks like kevin is right. att will have the phones on the 15th. we are looking at a week or 2 before they are set to sale.

Why would they even have a phone in-store demo and not have the actual device for sale ? They had the 9800 under a Lucite box before it came out. No physical device to demo.

You folks have me fired up now! Going to get some moth balls for my Galaxy S2. It will be good to get back to a Blackberry again. All of my old Blackberry's were better at holding weak signals than this Galaxy. Seems that while I really improved my browser experience, I lost sight of how important holding a signal is out here in the countryside.

As of yesterday I give up on trying to find out something from any of these carriers. I called Sprint and went into my regular store, a Verizon store, AT&T, and T-Mobile stores. All were clueless. One kid at the TMO store said he thinks it'll be some time during summer. But he really doesn't know.

So I'll go about my business and when there's an official announcement I know I'll hear it here. And if all the lack of information I got today wasn't depressing enough. I popped into a Baskin Robbins next to the AT&T store to get my favorite ice cream, Baseballnut. And they didn't have it yet. But I asked the obvious question and I got the same answer I've been hearing since January 30TH. "I don't know." I'm starting to hate those words. Lol!
