Has anybody else experienced their photos cracking on there Z10? every time I take a picture of something, a couple minutes later I go back to view my pictures and their cracked. There's a line going through them

So, when you first view the photo it is fine - no line(s) through it. Then you look later and there's a line through it? What if you immediately copy to a computer or email it off the z10?

Do you see what I mean. I took this picture, looked at it later, and it was fine. Then I get home and this happened

Again, I suggest quickly copying it elsewhere? Is it okay? How long afterward? Is the photo saved to Internal Memory or to an sd card? Any other data, music files or documents messed up?

The picture above, is that a screen shot or is that a copy of the uploaded picture? In other words is the original photo cracked or only when displayed on your z10? Do all of the images BREAK in the exact same way or place? Have you examined any Videos? What about changing the camera to 4x3 or other resolution - same problem?

Just a bunch of questions to test out various potential problems.

Majority of my photos are okay. However there is a big chunk of my photos with this problem. That photo I posted is the original. Also some of my videos don't even play. They too become distorted.

Here's another photo. Same thing occurred. I took the photo, it was okay all day, two days later, went through my pictures, this happened.

Where are they being saved? Sd-card? If so, maybe the card has problems. How large a card? I would copy all data off the card and then reformat it in the phone and try again.

If Internal Memory, I think you would possible WIPE the phone and/or reload the OS. Speaking of OS, is this the carrier original or have you tweaked it?

When I watch podcast on crackberry.com the video is small and up in the left corner can someone help.

I save everything on a 4 GB Sd card.
And no I haven't tweaked my BlackBerry.

I've seen the exactly same problem posted by somebody else here at CB forums, too bad I don't have a link, it's been a few months ago. But I'd suggest setting your camera to save pictures to the internal storage memory instead of the SD card and you'll see if the problem persists. If not, it's probably a faulty SD card, if yes, than it might be some kind of software issue.

Try saving it to your device memory instead of your SD Card. Something might be wrong with your SD Card. So just try saving to device memory .
