i have that problem and send my BB Z10 to maintenance he told me i have to replace my main board with other used then will lose all my data ( i had back up it 2 days before that) so i changed the board and since that try hard to restore my backup file bbb extension but never ever success he told me the ID of the device is different ....can you helpme please

2days ago, my z10 STL100-1 died !

i have picturepassword and i swiped up to unlock, the picture password screen did not show up, instead only a blank screen. Tried a couple of times, then i shutdown the phone using the power button ! Then i removed the battery and inserted it back.... no sign of life there after !!!

Get a battery charging bundle if you can - this could easily be just a bad battery. Replace the internal battery with the one included in the bundle, having fully charged it (preferably not using whatever charger you were using most recently with your Z10, as this may have killed the existing battery). Good luck.
