Hi,

I decided to do a security wipe, to see if I could fix the 10.1 problem with the contacts. However this was over an hour ago, the phone is stuck on a screen with a shredder and a paper going through. The blue wheel is still spinning around.

I was wondering if anyone knew how long a security wipe usually takes? This doesnt seem very normal to me.

I suggest leave the phone for maybe half an hour longer,

So how long did this wipe take because mine is doing it now too.
I mistyped my password to go into developmental mode and I had to wipe.
How long do I have to wait????

Ok well to answer the question I had about 50 apps nd it took a out 20 mind to wipe. And then I restarted.

I've wiped mine a couple of times and it usually takes between 15-20 minutes.
