Is it only me or is anyone else addicted to using gestures? I turned it off to try and preserve my battery but I kept swiping the screen to unlock I simply love the gestures and wit will take a very long time to get the habit out

You don't turn off gestures, let's make that clear the only thing you turn off is to swipe to unlock. That's one gesture. And doing so does save battery life.

People don't be confused by turning off gestures lol.

I don't need mine on since when I keep it in the pouch it unlocks by its self when I take it out and it saves battery!

I don't find that turning off unlock with gestures improves my battery noticeably.

I have the holster as well but prefer keeping it on anyway. When I'm at work it sits on my desk so keep the swipe movement going.

Awesome feature, makes using the phone so much quicker.

It is awkward when you use another phone and try to swipe up to unlock though...

I do that all the time with my my sisters i4s. Did it today with a gs3. Was texting on it and kept trying to swipe left to delete words. Hah

Gestures is one of the main features of the Zed. I love this feature and I'll always have it on

The gestures were the biggest draw for me and intuitive, IMO. When I was testing phones at the store, the gestures came almost naturally to me. Very efficient. I then tested the Android phones and was already stumped at navigating the OS without gestures. Always needing to push the home icon is a stinker.

I'm a satisfied customer of the Z10, as it does everything I need it to do, as a primary communication device, a BB, with a great browser and excellent navigation. No issues yet.
