I go to Settings, then Voice Control and tap on Enable Dictation but then it takes me to On-Screen Keyboard settings and the dictation doesn't work when I am texting. Am I missing a step???

Do you guys have "Voice input key" on? If not, toggle it on.

If connected ta Bluetooth device it may not work. Try shutting off Bluetooth

Try holding down the . button for a few seconds within a text message. It works for me

The instructions are misleading; it says to 'tap' but you should 'long press'
as it says here:
