I'm currently using an OS6 BlackBerry device. Hoping my LE Z10 will arrive this week, and woke up this morning to find a text from T-Mobile telling me my BIS has expired. My question is, if I buy another BIS plan, will it work when I put the simcard in to my Z10, or do I have to buy a normal data plan?

With BlackBerry 10 you can use any data plan, although using a BIS plan will also work.

if someone does use their old BIS what will happen if it goes down will the Z10 be affected?
