Hi everyone,

Have been a long time browser of this great site and have always found answers to my Blackberry questions.

I have just upgraded from my 9700 to a Z10 and just wondered what the Case-Mate cases are like. They seem to be a plastic frame, but does this plastic frame scratch or mark the phone while it is inside the case?

I have had 2 of the Blackberry flip cases, but both have split at the top left corner - I have gone through 2 in a month, both suffering the same fault!

They make the Z10 feel like you have a brick in your pocket.

Thanks for the reply, I'm not 100% sold on one to be honest, just disappointed in the genuine blackberry case.

I just changed to a Casemate from a PDAIR leather flip case. Weight compared to that is much less, so don't think it adds that much weight to be a problem. I kind of like the extra weight actually, as naked the Z10 is too lite really. If you want to take your phone out a lot to use naked then this might not be the best case for you, but I think it looks great. Much better than the black leather case anyway.

My Z10 looks and feels great in Case-Mate (barely there) case!

I bought one of the case mate ones you can customize with whatever picture you want. I find it feels very protective although quite slippery. I used it for about a month and then went back to a different case as the case mate was very hard to take off and put on and it was becoming a pain when I had to use my car mount.
