    My (iPhone user) friend sent me a text with contact information ".x-vcard" and my Z10 couldn't open it and I received an error stating that the attachment is not supported.

    This is not good for a "Businesses Phone"

    Never heard of an x.vcard but i found this by simply searching, you should try it next time.
    I just had a few vcards sent to my Z10, and i got the same response when trying to open them. only thing i could do was to long hold the vcard icon/picture.. overflow menu opened up from the right with two options... 1)save 2)open in contacts. Selecting the second option to open in contacts opened the vcard, where i could save it there.
    hope this helps.
    Hope this helps you

    And you immediately blame the Blackberry rather than the iphone. My wife's S4 cannot open them when I send them from my Blackberry. There is a format issue. The issue may be the iPhone.

    Exactly.

    Also, according to IETF, x-vcard is obsolete. An excerpt from their document:

    "In addition, the following media types are known to have been used
    to refer to vCard data. They should be considered deprecated in
    favor of text/vcard.

    * text/directory
    * text/directory; profile=vcard
    * text/x-vcard
    "

    I get them sent to me all the time. Long press on it, open in contacts. Then you have the option to save.
