It's baked into the OS, somewhere in the Help app
I guess that's why it triggered the update

It's strange tho, I deleted it a couple of months back after I saw it was baked in, but never got that update. Maybe I'll get it soon

    Open universal search
    Search for 'BBVE' (without quotations)
Open it in the Help app
Press the first result and voila it's there to open

Or just open the Help app, search BBVE and first result

Not sure why it's hidden so deep, but it's there without downloading

Back in 10.1 BBVE was a separate app that had to be downloaded from BlackBerry World. In 10.2 they folded it into the existing Help application. I'm not at all sure why they did that - it was impossible to find and difficult to get to even if you knew it was there.

I just received the notification myself and the update resulted in a new icon on my home screen. Hopefully they keep it this way... it's a useful utility.

Strange. I received the notification too. But I don't even have this app. 1. I did a search(magnifier) for bbve, nothing came up. 2. I searched BlackBerry World, and my button says "download", not "update".

I updated this this morning - now I have issues with screen lag and swipe motions not being detected - anybody else have this happen - certain sections of my keyboard don't detect touches - makes texting hard....

Try restarting, see if that will fix the issue.
