I bought one of the BlackBerry bluetooth portable speakers when they were in sale at The Source in Canada for about $25. It also has an output jack the same as the Gateway, but it does lack NFC. However it is portable and acts as a speaker and has a mic for hands free calling.
I also have an older Roku Soundbridge M1000 hooked up to our home sound system via optical connections that streams music from our laptops, wifi back up device, and also direct from my Z10, which is recognised on the Soundbridge as a source. And since that's being streamed via wifi instead of Bluetooth there is no range issue (although some DRM issues with some songs)
