    Does anyone know why my Link software shows I am still running an older version (1.0.0.76) when I have downloaded and installed v1.0.1.15? Even more annoying is that it keeps telling me there is a software update available and then crashes when I try to install it?

    I would just go and uninstall BlackBerry Link and install the latest version.

    PC version? I would do what the previous poster said. Remove and install the newer version.

    That first version was pretty buggy.

    I had to uninstall twice before I could load the new version.

    I ended up running regedit and cleaned out all references to Blackberry before it would install properly.

    Go ahead and uninstall it and don't reinstall it. Drag and drop will do you just as good as this half assed software

    Ummm, no.

    BlackBerry Link is used for backups and reloading the OS if you need it.

    I believe you need it also for tethering and the phone drivers to charge the phone properly.

    It will get better with features like 2 way Outlook syncing.
