    Hi,

I'm having trouble linking my z10 to my computer to transfer files. Is there a way to do it manually without BlackBerry Link?

    Thanks
    Dave

Generally, yes. However, it involves a third party app, such as Box or Dropbox.

Hi and welcome. Sure. you can cable your phone to your PC and drag and drop files to your card or device memory. That's what I do. Use it as a big USB drive.

Are you asking about copying files or synchronizing?

Uninstall link with all user settings, start over making sure you have latest version. Go through wizard, log in with BlackBerry ID, turn on remote file access, set shared folders. Then you can do everything via wifi using BlackBerry file manager on device.

For calendar and contacts, you can use PIM Backup and restore to transfer data.

I would just bypass Link and drag and drop the music files/ folders wirelessly or via USB.
Once you hook your Z10 to the Mac a drive should appear on screen.
Click on that to open and have access to all your folders.

Just make sure in Storage and Access you have enable USB Mass Storage or else the drive won't show up on your computer screen.
