    My Z10 can connect to bb link successfully but everytime I click the button to restore backup
    the bb link window disappear immediately. It crashes I guess.
    I tried serval version of bb link, including 1.2.3.22 , 1.2.3.48 and 1.2.3.56.
    None of them can do the recovery. Whats wrong with bb link or my laptop ??

    I'd say most def it's BB Link to be blamed - the worse software ever made. I thought the DM was crappy but then again there is always a new lever of worse unfortunately.

    You might want to investigate Sachesi. It can backup and restore and can use BBLink created backup files. It is discussed in the OS Leak subforum.

    Thanks. I downloaded Sachesi 1.2.3-38 and it recognized my Z10 without any trouble.
    I selected the LINK created backup file then Saches showed "restoring backup (0%)" .
    After it spins for a while the CPU usage turned out be 99% and
    Saches was like completely frozen. I waited about 10 min and nothing happened.

    Make sure that LINK has not opened automatically and try again. BBLink should be closed. You might also reboot both computer and phone and see if that helps.

    I thought BlackBerry Link just rolled out a new software a few days back?

    I not only closed bb link but also killed all bb related process before I launched Sachesi.
    any other methods ?

    I have to click start using BB Link every time I connect. Will try newer version. Thanks for the heads up, WanShark69.

    I have a crash when link try to sync " windows contacts contacts"...
    Don't know why but first times this happens.

    I tried compatibility .. Same problem

    Z10 10.3.0.256 and the last bb link
