I saw in many threads that Blackberry Blend is just working for the new Blackberry Passport, but surprisingly, I successfully made it work with my Blackberry Z10 (STL100-3).

Take a look at the following screenshot:

Blackberry Blend IS working on my Z10-blend-screenshot.jpg

My Blackberry runs OS 10.3.0.1418 and the Blend version I'm using is 1.0.1.50 (client version: 1.0.1.19)

    Here's how I setup Blend:
    • I was running OS 10.3.0.296
    • I updated my OS to the leaked version 10.3.0.1418
    • At that point, only Blackberry Link (updated version) was installed on my computer
    • I plugged my Z10 on my computer and it appeared as a drive in "My Computer"
    • Double-clicking it was proposing to update Blackberry Link and install Blackberry Blend
    • I ran the previously described installer from my blackberry
    • After that, Blend was installed and I started it.
    • I entered my Z10 password and it worked.

I hope someone else will replicate these results. Let me know.

May I ask how you obtained your Z10 . . . or token installed on your Z10?

No they are only able to be installed on one pin each so even if you did extract it, it's only work on his pin.
If it's anything like a dev token

Ok, so apparently my device is whitelisted. I was wondering if it wasn't because I installed Blend from the installer on my device instead of getting it from Blackberry's website.

Is my desktop version of Blend the same as the one you guys are getting from blackberry?

So in conclusion, the only difference that makes Blend working for me is that the PIN is white-listed? No desktop software difference? Did someone tried to install it with the installer on his device?

That's the sole difference, the whitelisted PIN.

Hey Sam! Going good. Haven't developed for a while due to life stuff, back surgeries, job changes and a surprise late life addition to the family but am hoping to get back on track with BB10 apps again soon. How are you doing?
