Thanks for sharing this, OP. Name recognition is good so that people know BlackBerry is still alive. Especially in the U.S. I think most of their advert budget needs to go toward educational ads that create need. They need to show how BB10 is different from their current device and what it can do for them. Most consumers have a natural resistance to moving away from the familiar. They need to see why they should invest time and effort in learning a new OS, and how easy it is.

It's been all though the 14th Street, 8th Ave station since the Spring. The entire station has only those ads (it's not atypical to see a single brand take over that whole station). It's great and all but it would be better suited in say Rockefeller Center station, or somewhere else in midtown (not that I have seen all the midtown stations). Midtown is still BlackBerry heavy but I see mostly OS7s when I look around.

A huge Google office is right by there so all of their coders get to walk past bb10 ads... I love it.

I've been seeing more and more BB10 ads in NYC recently (I posted about their guerrilla street team a while back). Also, up until about 2 weeks ago I haddn't seen anyone with a BB10 device besides me. This past week I saw 3 people which really made me happy.
