Z10 and Q10 will you leave your current BlackBerry 10 phone for the A10 when it drops?

    Coming from a note 2, if it's merely a big z10.. I'll pass.

There's a fair chance I will, but will depend on how it looks and a few of the specs.

Hard to answer without knowing the official screen size, physical dimensions, screen res, device memory...
There's pretty solid rumours out there for each of those items, but I want the final, official info before I'd commit.

Although I'll probably buy it for development, have to agree with the sentiment. If it's just a Z10 with a higher-res screen... meh. Hopefully they pull something better than that.

I doubt many people would move from the Q10. I know I won't. But if a higher end physical keyboard model was released I would definitely buy it.

Splitting hairs, but if it's a higher-res screen then it's not "just" a bigger Z10.

I disagree. If Apple would have just slapped a 4" screen on the iPhone 4S without any other changes, that would have been "just" an iPhone 4S with a higher-res screen, and they'd have been (rightly) fileted by the press for it. I see no difference if that's the case here.

The web experience is very good on Z10 and I'm expecting it to be excellent on A10. So definitely I'll try one.

I love the size and performance on my Z10. I'll be sticking with it for a couple years at least. I hope the A10 does well though.

BlackBerry needs something. I'm in Phoenix, AZ and the carriers out here don't show much support for BlackBerry. And i was even banned from one t mobile store because I would show the customers that the Z10 was superior to the iPhone 5 and the top android phones. Got love for Apple, no love for android. But blackberry is #1

If it is indeed bigger than the Z10 then I won't be getting it. The Z10 size is as far as I can go. Any bigger would hurt my hands. Small hands.

Maybe you're just not saying it exactly how you really mean, but screen size is not the same as screen resolution.

Screen size is the physical measurement from one corner diagonally across to the other corner.
Screen res is the pixel count, i.e. how many lines of pixels there are horizontally versus vertically.

My 55" Samsung TV has the same screen res as the Galaxy S4, but they obviously have drastically different screen sizes.

I'm probably just misunderstanding you, so sorry if that's the case.

This is how you CB10, son!

Oh yes I'm aware of the difference. Apple increased both on their phone. If the rumour is true, BlackBerry will be doing the same. That's why I made that particular comparison.

The A10 has piqued my interest. But me getting it will be dependent on if my interest for BB10 is still as high in November (or whenever it is to be released) as it is now.
