I know that this was originally designed for the Z30. Can anyone tell me though if it will also work on the Z10? I find this charger, the BlackBerry 2100 mAh Mobile Power Charger more useful than the regular bundle of the battery / charger.

I don't like opening the back cover of my phone and messing with the battery. Or doing a battery switch. I only do a battery pull if I absolutely must.

Any comments would be most welcome!

I can't identify the exact charger you mean, but if it is sold as a genuine BlackBerry product and has a micro-USB connector it will work perfectly well with your Z10. The phone will regulate the charging current to the maximum it needs so the charger might never reach its maximum rated output, but this is not a problem.

It will work. It's like using any micro USB charger. The only thing is that you can't do a battery swap with that.

The Playbook official charger is sold by BB as a premium or rapid charger for their phones. I used it for my 9930 without any problem and have been using it with my z10 and I have not detected any problem.
