It seems as though a lot of us are having issues staying in LTE. Is anyone else having this problem? Is it the BB10?

    Thanks

I guess it depends of how good the LTE coverage is, it tends to vary in my area (ottawa-gatineau)

For instance, at home, it does not pick it up and I am only getting around 3 to 4 mbps, where as when I am on LTE, I get around 32 Mbps.

I'm also in Vancouver and I've never had LTE drop off once for me. Overall very pleased with it except for the huge toll it takes on a phone's battery.

It is definitely an issue with the device/ OS. Some carriers are worse than others, but watch here in the next few weeks and see how many threads pop up on this bug. My guess is that it will become a big issue across many users. Typical RIMM...or should I say BBRY...

This issue is on the Bell Network. Bell has absolutely no clue. They are sending us back to get a new SIM card or replace the phone.

Gotta love people who go straight to blaming the device they're on instead of the lack of an LTE network where they live. I consistently have 4-5 bars and I never drop off.

Agree, unless other phones don't have the issue.

I've had no issues with LTE on Rogers. I was out with a friend yesterday who has the Note 2 on Rogers. He said he hardly gets LTE, no idea why. Sitting right beside him I had it, but he didn't.

You do realize that if you are only calling, it will switch into 3G mode. But once you access the data functions it will kick into 4GLTE. At least that's how it is for me. I always have 4GLTE when I use my fb, browser, etc. But whenever I call, always into 3G. On idle though, it's usually in 4GLTE mode

I'm on Bell and a friend told me that they have 4G SIM cards and LTE ones and to get LTE speed you need an LTE SIM... I just checked and the package where the SIM came says 4G. Called BestBuy (where I bought it) and they told me they ran out of LTE ones but if I go there in a week they will replace it for free...

This is the speed I am getting right now:

This seem pretty good to me, will LTE be better?
