Just to confirm to all you Crackberry addicts out there that I have been finding that the Z10 camera does indeed produce much improved results after the recent well documented update (10.0.10.90) in my case as I'm in the UK on the EE network.

After taking some before and after photos in identical lighting conditions I have found that images have less noise, more accurate white balance and more shadow detail than before. Less noise also means sharper detail. Looking at the file properties its easy to see why. Basically the ISO reading is lower on every photo after the update and the shutter speed on average is also slightly slower. Most shots before the update were 1/30 and now they average at 1/17. Obviously this will differ depending on metering etc. But remember I am comparing before and after shots in identical lighting conditions.

Overall very impressed, just a shame the improvements were not there at launch meaning the reviews might have been more positive when they compared the Z10 camera performance to other phones such as the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy III.

Great to hear that. It would be great if someone could post photos taken with iphone 5 and Z10 for comparison sake.
