When people look for cases for their phones nowadays, they seem to worry more about looks and size than performance and reliability . I know the goal is to have a sleek and skinny phone, but I take advantage of the trimmed fat that new phones offer, and I replace that extra space with the best case to protect the phone with; after all, it's what's under the hood that we need, right? . Anyone who knows me can say I'm nuts when it comes to a phone case, and I have tried many brands and dumped hundreds of dollars into case after case on many phones over the years to no avail. Well, I accidentally stumbled across the Trident Kraken A.M.S case on a random Google search, and man did I luck out. I know Otterbox fans will attack me here for what I'm about to say, but when will they finally stop putting the floppy silicone skin on the OUTSIDE of the case? It's annoying and not remotely durable, but yes, they are nice looking cases from a distance. In defense of Otterbox, the Trident Aegis case is one of the cheapest, flimsiest crap cases I have ever seen, and the first I actually returned for a refund. Having said that, no one is as shocked as I am that the Kraken A.M.S. is the case I have been searching for. I usually lean towards Ballistic cases, but it's like this case was made by someone who knew what I wanted. I honestly believe the Aegis and Kraken A.M.S. were made by two different companies that shared the same Trident name. The Kraken A.M.S. is solid as hell. The built in screen protector isn't cheap at all. The silicone sleeve is on the INSIDE where it belongs, and when assembled, this case is TIGHT fitting. Reinforced shock absorbing corners, very thick port covers that fit snug, and the plastic is really rigid and scratch resistant. The two biggest highlights of the Kraken A.M.S. are the included aluminum kickstand for landscape table top hands -free viewing, and the fact that the A.M.S. system designation allows various attachments to be added to the case for all sorts of situations . I'm not selling these cases; I do not represent Trident (Kevin will confirm that). I'm just a fellow Z10 owner trying to pass along good info. If you don't mind some extra bulk, and you want a case that has tons of features with brilliant protection, the Kraken A.M.S. is worth every penny it costs ( and it's not cheap by a long shot). Hope this helps someone.

The case is better if you "Rip its balls Off" (remove the plastic screen protector), because after awhile, it drove me nuts; just like OtterBox and Griffin Survivor cases. So minus the screen protector, perfect case, and if you must have screen protection, go with Zagg or equivalent.

Might try it out. I have the Otterbox. I like it but get annoyed with the rubber cover that seems to pick up dust etc....I also removed the screen protector because it impeded gestures.
