    I have a brand new Z10 with 10.0.9
What's the best way to install the latest 10.2 leak?
Just connect it to computer BEFORE the first boot and run the autoloader?
Or it's better to have a first boot, then run autoloader?

Not likely a difference. The auto loader us going to wipe the device before installing the new OS. Most times my phones are booted and then the new OS installed.

Best way is to wait for the official release...even tho it might take some time to wait for it.

But it's a brand new phone, so there is no data to lose.
Why waiting until december (if I'm lucky) to the lazy carrier to approve the update if i can get it now?

Go to the beta leaked OS forums here on crackberry and follow the instructions for the leak compatible with your model type. It's as simple as that.

Well you might as well fire it up first to see if it even works.

Get comfortable with the device so you're aware of how the gestures work.

    Set up your BlackBerry Id.

Install BlackBerry Link on your pc. You'll need it for Remote Access later.

    Fully charge your battery.

Then head over to the BerryLeaks forum. Read everything. And then pick your leak and install according to their instructions. And no shortcuts.

Good luck, but no worries. And Enjoy your new phone with the latest os available.

Download the leaked 10.2, I recommend the .1767, to your computer. The link to it is in the BB10 OS Leaks thread. After download, you will need to unzip the execute file that is in the folder.

Just start the phone, usb it to the computer and let your computer map the drive. Then go to your unzipped OS file and double-click the execute file. It will do the rest.

After everything is done, the phone will reboot and then you can setup the phone.
