For those of you on 10.2.0.1791, when you go into settings and choose an item does that 'back' bar appear at the bottom of the screen for you?

EDIT 3: Everything is up and running. All my contacts are back and I had to reactivate my email addresses, the new features are great so far. Everything's working great.... For those Verizon users that are thinking about updating to 10.2, Sachesi is the way to go. Remember when searching to change the 'Variant' field to STL 100-3. Also, after restoring from a back up, I would let the device just sit for 20 - 30 minutes undisturbed, the system seems to need some time to re-configure and I guess leaving your Z10 alone would serve it well... I tried to dive right into stuff right after my Z10 booted up and some things were not responding, so I just left it alone and now everything is responding well as usual...

My Verizon Z10 is STL100-4. Should I enter that instead of 100-3?

Ditto the above. Used Sachesi, put 1791on my stl100-4 Verizon. Running perfectly. Battery life after 4 days is stable and a bit better than it was on 1047, which I loved.

I was under the impression that there was only 1 unlocked runtime (Posted August 24 2013 by BerryLeaks), but after seeing your post I did a search and found another one: Posted October 8 2013 by soozininsomniac

I'm gonna check out the later one, later on today... How many other unlocked run times are there?

That's what I don't know! I occasionally see references with version numbers (you know those simple 12 digits with decimals!!!!!) so trying to figure out the newest versus the best working one are the issues.

How is your device doing NOW?

Yeah... I wish there was a thread that had all (or most) of the leaked runtimes in chronological order... Should I start one, or is there one already??

My device is running normally, no deviations from what I'm used to (performance didn't get worse nor better). The new software features are a welcome addition. I love seeing new messages pop up at the top of the screen and I love that little short cut that pops up above your cursor in the text field after you have copied some text... Just a couple of the new features that I like... Loving it so far!

I installed the unlocked Android runtime that was posted on October 8, 2013. I hated the permanent bar in the previous BerryLeak's unlocked version so i went back to the runtime that came with OS 10.0.2.1791.... Now with this unlocked runtime that I stumbled up on (or down on lol) I don't have to use a debug token to install android bars and I have the option to hide the bar at the bottom! So far so good! I will report in a few days or so, or feel free to just ask how my Z10 is doing here

I think I just might jump on this ship. Just to clarify, is everyone saying to use the STL 100-3 option instead of STL 100-4 for a Verizon Z10?

Sachesi did whatever it does with all of those bar modules. Finished about 3:40pm. Now I see the BlackWhite Blackberry logo. Nothing else obvious is happening. As I typed that, the Blue Logo popped up (is that the squircle?).

edited to add: Blue logo fading, red led flashing and I just saw the Verizon flashscreen and get the same message as Bounce "A problem with your media license..." and I will tap OK.

Sheesh, I'm at my home screen! is it 3:52pm. "Preparing hub..."

Now for an UNlocked Android runtime!

I'm posting this separately. I just tried installing the Android Runtim using Sachesi. Sachesi imploded twice in a row. I will now reboot my z10 and try again. Pressed both Vol buttons and am rebooting....

    Why not sideload with Chrome?

I did just that a few minutes ago. I believe it worked. I just opened both Shazam and Google earth and neither worked when I tried under 10.1.xxxx

Good! I really only use Chrome for sideloading. Everyone has their own preference... play around and find what suits you best.

    Enjoy the runtime

So you took the leap of faith! Great stuff! Let us know how your Z10 is doing... Out of curiosity, which Android Runtime did you install?

I use DDPB for sideloading, I have been hearing good things about Chrome... I will check that out
