So i had requested new Z10 from our HR gal at work, and she told me that our company decided to move away from Blackberry because they do not want to have to deal with BES anymore, she offered me an alternative of iphone or an android device, because they can connect and actively sync with our servers without BES.

My main question is: Will new z10 be able to actively sync without BES?

Will it work like my playbook and only do the activesync thing over wifi?

thank you for prompt replies, as i do want to convince her that it will do the same as the other phones.

Yes. Exactly the same as the PlayBook.

The technical terms here are "Microsoft ActiveSync" which is the protocol used.
