Thanks for pointing that out, nice to hear from someone who actually works in the field!
A real sales agent that was worth their salt would sell a BlackBerry, iPhone, Android or Windows phone and never blink an eye. And they'd do it with a smile on their face and leave the customer walking away thinking they'd made the best decision of their life.
Bell is probably paid by Apple and Samsung to promote their phones.
Plus I don't think its right for him to impose a opinion on you like that. He should be giving the bad and good points from all Platforms before yelling that. He should be taught a lesson in customer service.
It's funny reading this one I happened to be in Cloverdale mall Etobicoke over the holidays and to my surprise Bell was the only dealer showing off the Z30 go figure...hummm very strange! And people stopped to look and listen.
So how should they sell their phones without carrier backlash?

I suggest they sell direct to consumers as well as through carriers. This story is an example of the worst kind of carrier backlash. The sales rep works for and represents the carrier. The backlash began years ago, at least in the US, when Android was introduced as a contender to help check Apple's power.
