    My Z10 switches of automatically while i'm in middle of operating the hand set and had to restart 2 to 3 times before it stays ON without switching off in this process the battery gets heated up quickly... is there a solution to the problem???

    There could be a few reasons maybe a bad battery. Or if you charge it all the way to when you see the green light. Some apps will drain your battery faster, is your OS up to date some earlier OS's were battery hogs but they have fixed it with the latest updates. If your using Wifi it can also drain it faster. Open apps? Anyways all these are possible.

    Thnx for your reply... my problem is my handset switches off in middle of something even when my battery is 70% and had to keep restarting it twice or thrice before it stays ON without switching off

    Check your battery contact with the diode in the phone. Sometimes it could be bad contact point

    How about a loose battery that loses contact? Shim with paper or cardboard to keep it from moving.

    hii am using bbz10 it is getting off by itself and oning by itself and this process continues and my battery is getting heated up

    What OS are you running and what radio #?

    Have you tried turning OFF permissions to deny your apps the ability to go on line?
