Which carrier do you use? I'm in the UK on EE and i'm having exactly the same problem. Have you lost your BlackBerry icon next to the signal strength indicator when not on wifi?

I've done it several times. I've put the phone in airplane mode several times, i've restarted the phone twice and even done a battery pull.

It's not needed like it was needed on the older bb's but it never hurts to pull the battery if you are having an issue that can't be resolved with a restart or reboot.

    No need to apologize

Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to do a hard reboot.
Saves the wear and tear of pealing the back cover off too.
